Eligible Singaporean households can begin collecting the latest tranche of S$500 CDC Vouchers starting today (Jun. 11).

This tranche was originally planned for January 2027, but was brought forward by the government in light of rising fuel prices and heightened cost-of-living anxieties arising from the conflict in the Middle East.

It is split into two halves: S$250 for spending at participating hawkers and heartland merchants, and S$250 for spending at participating supermarkets.

Middle East situation remains fluid: DPM Gan

Speaking at a launch event for the latest CDC vouchers, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry Gan Kim Yong said that CDC Vouchers have provided "meaningful and timely" support to Singaporean households as well as heartland businesses and hawkers.

The launch was also attended by the district mayors.

Gan noted that the crisis in the Middle East has disrupted global energy supply flows and pushed up energy and transport costs.

While the Middle East situation has been "less severe than we had feared earlier", the situation "remains fluid" and imported cost pressures are expected to go up in the coming months, Gan shared.

"The coming months will not be easy. The Middle East crisis remains highly uncertain. We do not know how long it will last, whether it will spread further, or how global markets will react. There are also other risks in the global economy — from trade tensions to financial market stability. All these can affect Singapore."

"The government understands Singaporeans’ concern on cost of living. This is why we decided to bring forward this tranche of CDC vouchers from next January to this June," Gan said, adding that the government stands ready to do more if needed.

Apart from helping to manage household expenses, the CDC vouchers also reflect a "spirit of partnership", which Gan characterised as "one of Singapore's greatest strengths".

"To our residents, I encourage you to make good use of the vouchers at participating hawkers and heartland merchants," Gan urged.

"Every dollar spent helps your household, and also supports local businesses in your community," he continued.

Vouchers useful and accessible to Singaporeans: Low Yen Ling

Chairman of Mayors' Committee and Mayor of the South West District Low Yen Ling shared that the previous tranche of CDC Vouchers, disbursed in January 2026, has had "high utilisation rate".

94.5 per cent of the vouchers had been claimed, Low shared.

There were 1.36 million eligible households.

Of the claimed vouchers, 80.1 per cent has been spent, with S$151 million spent at participating hawkers and heartland merchants and S$158 million spent at participating supermarkets.

"Its high utilisation rate indicates that Singaporeans have found the CDC voucher scheme to be useful as well as accessible," Low commented.

As of Jun. 3, 2026, more than S$4.64 billion has been spent across the eight CDC voucher tranches and the SG60 voucher tranches, covering both seniors and adults, Low shared.

The June 2026 CDC vouchers are the ninth tranche since CDC vouchers were introduced in December 2021.

"As Singaporeans claim and use the S$500 CDC vouchers June 2026, we do so in support of our local heartland hawkers and merchants, and also we are supporting our businesses and shopkeepers who serve us tirelessly every day," Low remarked.

Notification letters will not be issued for this tranche of CDC vouchers in line with sustainability efforts and positive resident feedback, the Community Development Council said in a media release.

Seniors and residents less familiar with digital tools may visit Community Centres and SG Digital Community Hubs for help with claiming the vouchers.

In addition to the June 2026 CDC Vouchers, eligible Singaporean adults will also receive a Cost-Of-Living Special Payment of between S$400 and S$600 cash in September 2026.
