Car turns turtle in Ubi: Driver, 61, arrested for drink driving

A car turned turtle along Ubi Avenue 1 on Jun. 10 night.

A video shared with Mothership showed the vehicle lying on its roof as emergency responders attended to the scene.

The location of the accident was near Block 344 Ubi Avenue 1.

Debris was also visible on the road.

2 drivers taken to hospital

The police said they were alerted to an accident involving two cars along Ubi Avenue 1 towards Ubi Avenue 2 at about 9:45pm on Jun. 10.

A 61-year-old male driver and a 69-year-old male driver were both taken conscious to the hospital.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they conveyed one person to Changi General Hospital.

Driver arrested for drink driving

Police said the 61-year-old driver was arrested for suspected drink driving.

Investigations are ongoing.
