Allegedly told woman to strip
According to Siam News, the man had threatened the woman with the knife before forcing himself into her home and blocking the door with furniture.
He also allegedly told her to strip and tried to rape her.
However, the woman managed to stall him and escape by claiming someone was downstairs.
Man asked for water, slipped and fell from second floor
Upon arrival, police officers found the man in a highly agitated state.
He had been standing on the second-floor balcony since about 8am, holding a sharp object roughly 50cm long pressed against his chest through his shirt.
He refused to comply with instructions despite numerous attempts to calm him down and get him to surrender.
The man later confessed that he was hallucinating after consuming a large amount of drugs, which led to his behaviour.
He became thirsty and was offered water by the officers.
The man lost his footing and fell from the second floor balcony, suffering a hip injury.
