M'sian man, 58, & woman, 37, arrested for allegedly committing sex act in cemetery

A man and a woman in Penang, Malaysia were arrested after a video showing them allegedly performing an indecent act at a cemetery circulated on social media.

The Penang police said they received a report at about 12:05pm on Mar 23 from a 69-year-old man after the clip began circulating online, according to Sin Chew Daily Malaysia.

Preliminary investigations found that the incident took place at a Chinese cemetery on Mar 22, and involved two local individuals.

The suspects were later identified as a 58-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman.

Both suspects arrested within hours

Authorities arrested a woman at about 8:35pm the same day police received the report.

A man was arrested later at about 11:11pm at a separate location.

Both suspects reportedly admitted to being involved in the incident and are currently being detained to assist with investigations.

It is unclear how the video was recorded or who uploaded it online.
