HK singer Joey Yung washed nose 6-7 times a day due to nasal infection but still had green mucus, thought she would never recover
Recovering.
Hong Kong singer Joey Yung shared that she had recently been battling a nasty bout of rhinitis symptoms.
In a video on social media on Feb. 7 documenting her recovery journey, she said she had been troubled by germs for some time but has since made a strong recovery and is now able to return to work.
In her post, Yung described the severity of her rhinitis symptoms, writing: “Last week, even if I washed my nose six or seven times a day, that green mucus just wouldn’t go away.”
Fortunately, her condition has since improved.
She admitted that at one point, she truly felt she might never get better.
“It wasn’t until God reminded me that my life wasn’t over that I could finally return to work like a normal person,” she wrote, adding that it felt as though she was being reassured that “everything will slowly get better.”
While she is mostly recovered, Yung noted that her throat still needs some clearing and that she must continue to get enough rest and drink plenty of water.
Many fans flooded the comments section with well-wishes, urging her to stay warm and hoping she would make a full recovery and remain healthy.
