DBS announced on Feb. 9, 2026 that it will be giving a special one-time bonus of S$1,000 to its junior employees.
Nearly 6,800 employees in Singapore, out of more than 23,000 eligible DBS employees, will benefit from this bonus.
It will cost the bank around S$18 million in total.
For employees outside Singapore, the size of the bonus will be indexed to the local market's purchasing power parity.
DBS chief executive officer Tan Su Shan said that the bank delivered resilient results despite a difficult environment, and that they wanted to "specially recognise the contributions of [their] junior staff".
In 2025, DBS gave a supplement of S$1,000 to all employees except senior managers after a record 2024 performance.
