Johor policeman draws gun on car with S'pore license plate driving against traffic at Johor checkpoint
Against the flow of traffic.
A Johor policeman was seen drawing a gun on a car with a Singapore license plate, which was driving against traffic, at the checkpoint on Jan. 10, 2026.
A video of the incident, filmed on a dashboard camera of a car, was posted to SGRV Admin's Facebook page on Feb. 7.
Car drove against traffic
The incident appeared to have taken place at the Sultan Iskandar Building in Johor, Malaysia.
As the car with the dashboard camera travelled along a lane, it suddenly met with a Volkswagen that emerged from the interior of the immigration complex and was travelling against the flow of traffic.

A Johor police officer approached the Volkswagen on the driver's side and appeared to gesture at the driver. More officers then joined the fray.
The Volkswagen driver attempted to move forward, but was blocked by the car in front of it.
One of the officers then knocked on the window of the Volkswagen, prompting its driver to reverse.
The driver then attempted to go forward, repeating this a few times.

Officer draws gun
An officer later raised a traffic cone before hitting the bonnet of the Volkswagen with it, while another could be seen pointing his sidearm at the car.
The Volkswagen was then seen bypassing the car ahead of it, with the officers mounting their motorcycles to give chase afterwards.

The Facebook post has since garnered over 1,400 shares and about 3,200 reactions.
No records of the Volkswagen's license plate were found on LTA's OneMotoring website.
