A 29-year-old man in Singapore was arrested on Feb. 7, following a collision involving two cars at Cantonment Road.

In response to Mothership's queries, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) confirmed that the incident occurred at 9:20pm at the junction of Cantonment Road and New Bridge Road.

Head-on collision

A photo shared on Facebook on Feb. 8 showed two police officers at the scene in the aftermath of the incident.

A silver car and a dark-coloured car had collided head-on, resulting in damage to both vehicles' bonnets.

The police told Mothership that no injuries were reported.

Male driver arrested

Following the incident, SPF said a 29-year-old male car driver was arrested for driving without reasonable consideration and driving under the influence of drugs.

Officers also found two e-vaporiser pods, which were seized.

The vape case was referred to the Health Sciences Authority (HSA).

Police investigations are ongoing.
