2 cars collide at Cantonment Rd: Vape pods found in car, man, 29, arrested
Investigations are ongoing.
A 29-year-old man in Singapore was arrested on Feb. 7, following a collision involving two cars at Cantonment Road.
In response to Mothership's queries, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) confirmed that the incident occurred at 9:20pm at the junction of Cantonment Road and New Bridge Road.
Head-on collision
A photo shared on Facebook on Feb. 8 showed two police officers at the scene in the aftermath of the incident.
A silver car and a dark-coloured car had collided head-on, resulting in damage to both vehicles' bonnets.
The police told Mothership that no injuries were reported.
Male driver arrested
Following the incident, SPF said a 29-year-old male car driver was arrested for driving without reasonable consideration and driving under the influence of drugs.
Officers also found two e-vaporiser pods, which were seized.
The vape case was referred to the Health Sciences Authority (HSA).
Police investigations are ongoing.
