Large crowds gather at ION Orchard for Chinese actor Dylan Wang's fashion pop-up

Chinese actor Dylan Wang paid a visit to his fashion brand D.Desirable's pop-up at ION Orchard on Feb. 11.

The pop-up is the contemporary streetwear brand's international debut, launched on Jan. 30 at the mall's Level 1 atrium.

Wang's appearance was announced in advance on the brand's social media, but no specific time was mentioned.

Many fans thus decided to get there early to secure a good spot in anticipation of meeting the star.

When Mothership arrived at 2pm, a large orderly crowd had already formed in front of the pop-up space.

Speaking to Mothership, some fans standing in the first row said they had been waiting since 10am.

Wang arrived at the pop-up at around 4:20pm, drawing roaring cheers from the crowd.

By then, a crowd of onlookers had grown on the second and third floors as well.

Why Singapore

During the press conference before the event, Wang shared that he chose to make Singapore D.Desirable's first international destination because of his unforgettable memories in the country.

The actor was in town in October 2025, visiting various sites including Joo Chiat, River Wonders, and Bird Paradise for a promotional video series with the Singapore Tourism Board.

He highlighted the good food and cultural experiences he enjoyed during his visit, and said they were incorporated in his brand's Singapore-limited collection with local watercolour artist Ah Guo.

The t-shirts in this collection, along with the umbrella, are some of his personal favourites from the items available at the pop-up.

The D.Desirable pop-up will run until Feb. 25.
