S'pore teen, 16, sent to hospital after car accident in Toa Payoh, driver, 39, assisting with investigations
Police investigations are ongoing.
A 16-year-old male pedestrian was knocked down by a car and taken to the hospital on Feb. 10, 2026.
Responding to Mothership's queries, the police confirmed that they were alerted to the accident at about 2:50pm on Feb. 10 involving a car and a pedestrian along Lorong 8 Toa Payoh towards Lorong 7 Toa Payoh.
The accident occurred near the Police Security Command base.
A video posted to the Roads.sg Facebook Page showed the boy in his school uniform kneeling on the ground as paramedics checked on him.

The police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said that the 16-year-old male pedestrian was conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital conscious.
The 39-year-old male car driver is assisting with investigations.
