Singaporean swimmer Quah Ting Wen became Singapore's most medalled SEA Games athlete on Dec. 13 after she clinched her 63rd medal.
The 33-year-old won the women's 100m butterfly ahead of her younger sister Jing Wen at the SEA Games held in Bangkok, Thailand.
Swimmer Joscelin Yeo had 62 medals.
"It was a privilege for me to be able to swim next to her today," Ting Wen said of Jing Wen.
Ting Wen's first SEA Games appearance was in 2005.
This is her 10th appearance at the biennial meet.
She has won one gold, one silver and one bronze so far in the latest edition.
Singapore Aquatics (SAQ) said in a Facebook post of her achievement: "What an extraordinary achievement, and what a powerful testament to consistency at the highest level."
"We also take this moment to honour Joscelin Yeo, whose record stood tall for many years and inspired generations of swimmers who followed," SAQ added.
