Male car driver, 38, arrested after Yishun collision that killed motorcyclist, 20

A 38-year-old male car driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death following the traffic accident involving a lorry, car, and motorcycle at the junction of Yishun Avenue 3 and Yishun Central on Dec. 14 evening.

Responding to queries from Mothership, a Singapore Police Force (SPF) spokesperson said the police was alerted to the accident at 10:20pm.

A person was pronounced dead at the scene by a Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) paramedic.

The deceased was a 20-year-old male motorcyclist.

A 19-year-old male motorcyclist was conveyed conscious to the hospital.

SCDF told Mothership that it assessed three other persons for minor injuries, and they declined to be sent to the hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.
