A man has made the headlines in Malaysia for the lengths he has gone to ensure his wife gets proper treatment for her stage four cancer.

Ahmad Hamada Ayueman, 29, says he is willing to sell everything he owns to pay for her medical fees.

His wife, Siti Nuraifat Bueraheng, 25, initially saw some bruising on her knee after a motorcycle accident.

This happened a year before they got married.

As scans showed nothing, they continued with their day-to-day life. After getting married and the swelling worsening by the day, they went to a private hospital.

This was when they found out Siti had stage four soft tissue sarcoma cancer, which she has been battling since 2024.

This has led to mounting hospital feeĀ  from MRI scans, knee surgeries, and hospitalisation fees.

The couple also have two children to take care of.

This has led to more than just a financial struggle, though, as the time needed to take care of his wife has meant needing to quit his restaurant job.

Ahmad has sold off his personal belongings. He's looking to sell his BMW next, to fund the treatment.

Their financial woes have been complicated because Siti is a foreigner from Thailand, and is here on a social dependents pass. He has applied for various forms of aid, but none have gone through. He has thus taken to social media to raise funds.

According to the Kosmo article, to Ahmad, there is nothing more precious to a man than seeing his wife regain her health, which is what still keeps him going.

"I will not give up as long as she is breathing."
