Mahathir, 100, eats at Zam Zam in S'pore, takes photos with public in Bugis area

Former two-time Malaysia prime minister Mahathir Mohamad, 100, was spotted in the Bugis area in Singapore recently.

The centenarian had a meal at Singapore Zam Zam Restaurant in the vicinity of Sultan Mosque, as seen in a TikTok on Nov. 25.

He then took photos with restaurant employees and other patrons.

He was also seen getting into a car parked outside the eatery.

Accompanied by his wife

Mahathir also visited Kampong Glam with his wife, Siti Hasmah Mohamad Ali, 99, according to a Facebook post on Nov. 22.

The post said the couple were visiting Singapore that day.

The visit appeared to be a private one.

Turned 100 this year

Mahathir recently turned 100 in July 2025, becoming the second-oldest living former state leader in the world.

The statesman continues to be politically and socially active, often sharing his opinions on his social media pages.
