Couple fight at Vietnam airport all the way to Hong Kong-bound plane causing 1.5-hour flight delay
The couple were eventually removed from the plane.
A Hong Kong couple's argument, which occurred at Vietnam's Da Nang International Airport and carried on in a Hong Kong-bound aircraft, cause the flight to be delayed by over an hour.
The incident on Nov. 2 involved Hong Kong Express flight UO559, The Standard reported.
The flight took off one hour and 25 minutes late.
It was originally supposed to take off at 7:25pm.
Big argument
The couple's fight started at the departure lounge.
It then escalated when the couple was in the aircraft cabin.
The original video, posted on Instagram account "tommytcwtang", showed a woman standing over a man.

According to The Standard, the woman accused her boyfriend of hiring prostitutes and claimed he assaulted her on Oct. 1.
She alleged that he struck her 40 times in an incident she claimed was recorded at Gleneagles Hospital.
Her boyfriend then retorted that she cheated and had mental health issues.
Pushed flight attendant
The fight continued while on the plane, where they were initially seated apart.
But the woman insisted on sitting next to her boyfriend.

She grew hysterical when the crew refused.
The woman pushed a flight attendant to the ground.
According to The Standard, the woman also wept as she claimed the man was at fault and pleaded for support.
Her boyfriend loudly denied the allegations and repeated claims about her mental state.
Flight delayed
As a result, the couple was removed from the plane.
The airline confirmed the flight was delayed by an hour and 25 minutes.
It then landed safely in Hong Kong at 10:50pm.
Initial reports cited a 35-minute delay.
Crew praised for stepping in
In light of the incident, online commenters praised the crew's professionalism in handling the commotion.
According to Hong Kong's Aviation Security Ordinance, such disruptive behaviour is deemed a criminal offense.
Hong Kong Express apologised for the inconvenience and stressed that the safety of passengers and crew are the top priority.
The airline also commended its staff's calm handling of the situation.
In addition, the airline thanked passengers for their patience.
