S'pore's largest indoor nature-inspired playscape opening at Mandai Wildlife Reserve on Nov. 21, S$48 per kid
Just in time for the holidays.
Curiosity Cove, Singapore's largest indoor nature-inspired playscape, officially opens on Nov. 21 at Mandai Wildlife East, offering children aged three to 12 an imaginative space where play and learning intertwine.
The 4,600 sqm playscape, has interactive nature-themed zones that combine physical activity, sensory exploration and digital engagement.
"Curiosity Cove is designed to ignite children's natural curiosity and offer them an engaging introduction to nature in a way that excites and inspires," said Bennett Neo, Group CEO of Mandai Wildlife Group.
With immersive sounds, lights, and interactive "phygital" (physical and digital) play features, each area encourages exploration at a child's own pace.

Four interactive zones
Highlights of Curiosity Cove include:
- A six-metre-tall orangutan tree-bed climbing platform
- A 27-metre-long giant snake belly with a net-maze tunnel
- A musical “singing tree” that responds to movements
- Two Calm Zones for children to unwind, equipped with sensory kits for additional comfort
There are also four interactive zones inspired by real-world ecosystems.
Wetlands
At this zone, children will learn how water sustains all living things.
Reef Retreat, an interactive areas at the Wetlands, will give children the opportunity to feel their way through coral structures, peek under rocks, and discover the hidden world of coral reef inhabitants.

Forestlands
In the Forestlands, children can step into the lush Southeast Asian rainforest, where they can explore different habitats from the forest floor to the canopy.
At the Orangutan Sleeping Platform, they can climb into leafy "nests", just like orangutans do when they build their treetop "beds".

Grasslands
In the Grasslands, children can encounter the dynamics of the savannah, from predator-prey relationships to camouflage tactics.
At the Watering Hole, children will crouch to "drink" like wildlife, spotting their animal reflections on the surface while navigating rocks and logs to avoid a lurking alligator.

Drylands
The Drylands showcase the adaptations of fauna and flora that allow them to thrive in harsh desert conditions.
Children can crawl through the winding Giant Snake Belly, inspired by the horned viper, or test their senses in the Bat Cave, where echoes and sound guide the way through darkness.

Ranger buddies
Families can also look forward to additional activities at Curiosity Cove with Ranger Buddies, Mandai's edutainment programme that empowers children to become responsible global citizens through fun and meaningful activities.
Add-on experiences include interactive storytelling, dance sessions, and curated birthday parties.
