Chinese man, in his 20s, falls from 4th floor of Osaka airport, dies
He was reportedly visiting Japan with his mother and family.
A Chinese man in his 20s, who was visiting Japan with his mother and family, died after falling from the fourth floor of Kansai Airport's Terminal 1 in Osaka on Nov. 25.
Before the fall, local police received reports of a man sitting on a fourth-floor railing with his legs dangling over the edge.
Police attempted to pull him back
According to Chinese media reports, the tragedy occurred on the afternoon of Nov. 25.
At around 2:30pm, local police received a report about the man.

When the police arrived, two officers attempted to pull him back from the edge.
In videos circulating on social media platform Xiaohongshu, the police officers were eventually seen holding onto the man by what seemed to be his sleeves.
He eventually slipped out of their grasp and plummeted to the ground.
A group of people, believed to be airport staff, were later seen gathering around the man.

The man was later rushed to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The man, reportedly 20 years old, was visiting Japan with his mother and family members, Japan Daily reported.
Police investigations are ongoing.
