Japan woman casually strokes a lot of sushi on conveyor belt, drinks out of soy sauce bottle

A Japanese woman was filmed casually touching a lot of sushi one by one on a conveyor belt at the popular sushi chain Kura Sushi.

The video showed the woman opening the plastic lids of the revolving sushi before touching each one.

She then drank straight from the soy sauce bottle.

According to Mainichi, the chain said this took place at their Yamagata store. They have disposed of all items on the lane at the time and have sanitised all their condiment containers.

They have identified the culprits and are now consulting the police.

Comments online have been quick to point out previous times these kinds of situations have happened in Japan, including the Sushiro incident.
