You might want to check out “REMIX: SINGAPO人 Youth Takeover”, an upcoming youth festival by the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre (SCCC).
This annual event is back on the weekends of Oct. 17 to 26, 2025, with a fresh lineup of art, dance, food, games, and performances to celebrate Singapore Chinese culture in fun and contemporary ways.
And the best part?
There’s a mix of free and ticketed programmes, so you don’t have to spend much to have a good time.
Eligible Singapore citizens can also use their SG Culture Pass credits to offset ticket prices for selected programmes.

Two weekend sober parties will be taking place at the centre’s level 1 Concourse.
Here, you can indulge in everything from delicious food, live music, craft activities, to dance performances.
Time:
Oct. 18 & 25: 12pm to 9pm
Oct. 19 & 26: 12pm to 7pm

Say It Again: The Dialect Comeback Escape Room

Love escape rooms? You’ll want to try this one.
The escape room is designed in collaboration with Ngee Ann Polytechnic students and The Escape Artist to present a dialect-themed escape room adventure.
You will get to solve interactive puzzles and find out how our dialects are evolving through common terms that are still used in our daily lives.
Oh, and all you need to do is just pre-register here and pay a refundable deposit of S$7 to secure your slot.

Songs you Sing: Free Karaoke

Ever wondered how it’d feel like to sing your heart out on the roof? Head over to SCCC Roof Garden for free karaoke, where you can belt out your favourite songs and record your own Mandarin song cover.
There’s also a station where you can bring home a customised mini CD-album of your own recording in the form of a keychain bag charm — for the memories.

Mando Hearts: REMIX Edition

Indulge in an edgy Mandopop party after 7pm on Oct. 18.
Dance the night away with other Mandopop fans or discover fresh beats with new friends.
DJs on deck include DJ Gwen (@gwnxtr) and DJ Simone (@simonelzq).

Mystery lovers, this one’s for you.
This immersive theatre experience takes place at none other than the centre’s toilet. Yes, that’s right, the toilet.
Step into the role of a special agent to navigate ghostly myths, hidden memories, and the unspoken struggles of youths.
All set within the unconventional confines of a toilet. Intriguing.
Note that this activity is recommended for those aged 16 and above.

Spray and Paint Graffiti Workshop

For those who want to unleash some creativity, you can consider joining Singapore street artist, ANTZ, for a graffiti workshop.
You will learn the basics of graffiti theory and get to customise your very own tote bag with spray paint.
This activity is recommended for children aged 12 and above and there is no admission for infants in arms and children below nine years old.
All children must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are required for all patrons.
