Hunt The Mouse coin-hunting game back in S'pore, S$1 million up for grabs in next 60 days
Players online can guess the gold coin’s location and possibly share the prize pool of S$250,000.
The Hunt The Mouse cash hunt game is back in Singapore for a 60-day period from Oct. 16 to Dec. 14, 2025.
It started at 10am on Thursday and would end at 11:59pm on the last day.
A S$250,000 gold coin will be hidden somewhere on the island.
The announcement of the new treasure hunt was made on Thursday by Sqkii, the gamification company behind the treasure hunt game.
The first hint has already been released.
This latest edition is in partnership with Revolut.
Open to all
The game is free to play and open to Singapore residents and tourists.
A gold coin worth S$250,000, as well as 600 silver coins of varying value from S$500 to S$2,000 will be hidden in various spots across Singapore progressively.
The breakdown of the number of silver coins available are as follows: 100 SS2,000 silver coins, 100 S$1,000 silver coins, and 400 S$500 silver coins
The first to find the coins redeems cash of corresponding value.
The total value of coins to be hidden is S$750,000.
Two new categories
Two new categories have been introduced for this year's game to engage players of all ages.
For youths and seniors
In the first category, 400 silver coins worth S$500 each will be reserved exclusively for first-time players, those under 21 years old and below, and seniors aged 50 and above.
"I Know Where Liao" category for players online
In the other category, christened "#IKWL" or “I Know Where Liao”, it will be in play from Oct. 16 at 10am to Nov. 30, 11:59pm.
This new prediction-based category allows players online to guess the gold coin’s location using hints and clues available.
First three guesses are free, while additional guesses may be "subject to brand actions", Sqkii said in its press release.
A prize pool of up to S$250,000 will be shared among up to 10 #IKWL players whose guesses are the earliest and closest, but must be within 20m of the gold coin’s coordinates.
Each winner may receive between S$25,000 and S$250,000, depending on the number of qualifying winners and ranking, Sqkii added.
Follow clues daily
Players can follow the gold coin hints released three times daily on Sqkii’s Instagram, Facebook, and Telegram, as well as on the real-time map at huntthemouse.sqkii.com, to locate the coins and exchange them for cash.
The current game is the sixth iteration.
The game in 2024 attracted nearly 1 million players, where 79 per cent of active players spent an average of three hours each time they went out hunting for the coins, according to Sqkii.
