One moment, Ida was riding her motorcycle along the Pan Island Expressway (PIE), the next, she woke up to a paramedic tending to her.

Speaking to Mothership, Ida said she was heading to Pioneer when she was involved in an accident on Oct. 10.

However, she does not recall how the accident happened and is now hoping to reach out to anyone who may have witnessed it.

The Singapore Police Force (SPF) confirmed with Mothership that they were alerted to the accident involving two motorcycles along PIE towards Tuas at about 10:20pm that day.

Both Ida and the other motorcyclist were conveyed conscious to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.

Looking for answers

Ida said she was thankfully not seriously injured and was discharged after undergoing scans at the hospital.

She has abrasions and bruises on various parts of her body, but what concerns her most are persistent headaches and problems with memory and focus.

She cannot recall the moment of the accident and is unsure of what happened.

“I cannot depend on my memory because I was unconscious. Even now, I wonder if I’m still in a dream,” she said.

Ida is seeking witnesses to come forward and contact her on Instagram.

She also expressed hope that the other rider was “not too badly hurt”.
