Man, 63, & woman, 61, arrested in Hong Kong for sexual act on public bench at pier

A 61-year-old woman and a 63-year-old man were arrested in Hong Kong after a video of them seemingly engaging in a sexual act in public went viral online.

The clip that spread on social media showed the man seated on a bench at Cheung Chau Public Pier with his hand inside the skirt of the woman, who was lying beside him, The Standard reported.

He later bent down twice to place his head under the skirt for several seconds.

A police report was made on Oct. 29.

The woman was arrested on Oct. 30 followed by the man a day later, with the arrests believed to have been made in connection to the video, according to South China Morning Post (SCMP).

The pair were arrested on suspicion of acts outraging public decency.

They have been granted bail and investigations are ongoing.
