About 500 car parks in HDB estates experiencing technical difficulties

About 500 car parks in public housing estates in Singapore experienced technical issues with their parking systems on Oct. 31.
The Housing and Development Board (HDB) said in a Facebook post on Friday at 4pm that it was investigating the cause of the issue.
"In the meantime, we have lifted the barrier arms of affected parking gantries to allow motorists to enter and exit the car parks expeditiously," HDB said.
It added that it is working closely with service providers to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
