S'porean man fined S$700 after vapes found in baby stroller at Woodlands Checkpoint
The Singapore-registered car driven by the man was profiled for enhanced checks.
A Singaporean man was fined S$700 on Sep. 9 after several e-vaporisers were found in his car at Woodlands Checkpoint.
In a Facebook post shared on Sep. 12, the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) said the man had concealed them inside a baby stroller in the boot.
Vehicle profiled for checks
ICA said the Singapore-registered car driven by the man was profiled for enhanced checks by its officers.
When questioned, the driver denied having anything to declare.
A thorough inspection of the car uncovered two e-vaporisers hidden in the pocket compartment of a baby stroller placed in the boot.
Officers also found another device in the driver's bag.
He was subsequently issued a composition fine of $$700.
