Chinese boss giving all his staff, including interns & new hires, free iPhone 17 Pro Max

A boss in China is continuing an annual tradition of giving staff a rather hefty gift.
Tim Pan is the boss of Chinese media company, Mediastorm.
And he decided that the new phone would be a suitable gift for his staff.
For reference, the iPhone 17 Pro Max in Singapore, without AppleCare+, are as follows:
256GB: S$1,899
512GB: S$2,199
1TB: S$2,499
2TB: S$3,099
With the AppleCare, the 2TB version goes up to S$3,418.
The boss, though, was adamant that everyone would get the phone.

The message, sent in the company chat, said everyone, including interns and new hires, will get the phone once it's out.
He also mentioned old rules.
This is because the iPhone giveaway has become something of an annual affair for the company.
They were also given the Apple Watch Series 10 the previous year as well.
