World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) legend Ric Flair, 76, broke down in tears as he spoke about the passing of his friend Hulk Hogan to TMZ.

Flair could be seen having his tears wiped away by a woman off-camera as he hid his eyes behind shades.

Good friends in real life

When asked how affected he was by Hogan's death, Flair told TMZ: "Umm more than you'll ever know."

Contrary to popular belief, Flair and Hogan were pals in real life.

Flair said he and Hogan had "chemistry" and had a lot of "fun" working with him.

"People always wanted to paint us as enemies when we were actually very close friends. And we kept up with each other on a regular basis," Flair said.

He added: "I just talked to Jimmy Hart yesterday. To have this happen is just horrible."

"It's just an unbelievable relationship," Flair also said.

Flair also posted on X expressing his sadness.

In the wake of Hogan's death, other WWE legends and personalities, such as The Undertaker, Kurt Angle, Kevin Nash and others have paid their respects to Hogan.
