Popular spicy noodle chain with long queues in Taiwan opens 1st S'pore outlet at Raffles City
Hot.
If you're a fan of spicy food, here's one new spot in town you can consider checking out.
Spicy Noodles, also known as Xiao Hun Mian, is opening its first Singapore outlet at Raffles City.
The popular Taiwanese spicy noodle chain first opened its doors in 2017.
Today, it has over 18 stores in Taiwan and usually garners snaking queues.
According to a press release, the outlet has a seating capacity of about 48 pax.
Menu
Spicy Noodles serves up curated sets that include its signature handmade Xiao Hun noodles, sliced beef, beef tendon, soft-boiled egg, and braised tofu pouch.
Diners can opt for either its spicy or clear broth made from beef bone.
Some highlights include:

As someone with mediocre spice tolerance, the noodles were not overwhelmingly spicy and had a pleasant kick when paired with the soup.

The sliced beef was also tender and complemented the sauce.

My only gripe was that the noodles had a rather soggy aftertaste after a few bites in.
