Man, 30, parked car haphazardly in Bugis, resisted arrest after police found suspected controlled drugs in car
Two police officers sustained minor injuries while effecting the arrest.

A 30-year-old man was arrested on May 9 morning for voluntarily causing hurt against a public servant and for suspected drug-related offences along Cheng Yan Place in Bugis.
The scene of the arrest was caught on camera by an onlooker, and the footage was uploaded to Xiaohongshu.
What video showed
In the video, a man, dressed in a black t-shirt, could be seen sitting on the road, next to a red car.
Throughout the 15-second footage, the man kept his head down.
He was subdued by a police officer who was kneeling on the ground behind him.
Another man, dressed in a grey top, could be seen next to the police officer.
The man in grey stood up and handed over the man in black after another police officer arrived at the scene.
In total, three police cars were at the scene.

In response to Mothership's queries, the Singapore Police Force said police officers were patrolling along Cheng Yan Place at 10:55am on May 9 when they spotted a car parked haphazardly along the road.
Officers then proceeded to perform a check on the car driver, a 30-year-old male.
They subsequently found substances suspected to be controlled drugs and drug paraphernalia in the car.
Although the car driver put up a struggle during his arrest, he was eventually subdued by officers, with the assistance of a member of the public.
Two police officers sustained minor injuries while effecting the arrest.
The car driver was conveyed conscious to the hospital and was subsequently arrested for voluntarily causing hurt against a public servant and for suspected drug-related offences.
The suspected drug-related offences have been referred to the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB).
Investigations are ongoing.
