Good Samaritans help lorry drivers in fatal Braddell Road accident, 1 driver later passed away
Two others were conveyed conscious to the hospital.
A serious accident between two lorries on Braddell Road near Raffles Institution in Bishan took the life of one driver on a May 27 afternoon.
The accident occurred in the direction of Bartley Road before the Bishan Flyover at about 2pm.
Before rescue personnel arrived, some Good Samaritans were spotted attempting to rescue those stuck in the vehicles.

Photos posted on the Roads.sg Facebook page showed around 10 people gathered at the accident site with two attempting to rescue a person who was trapped in a vehicle.

One passed away

Three people were subsequently taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital by the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).
The officers freed two people who were trapped in the driver’s seat of the lorries using hydraulic rescue equipment, SCDF said in response to Mothership's queries.
A 36-year-old male lorry driver was conveyed conscious to the hospital but subsequently passed away, the police later confirmed.
The other 59-year-old male lorry driver and his 48-year-old male passenger were conveyed conscious to the hospital.
Police investigations are ongoing.
