A green BMW collided with the rear of a public bus near Suntec City on May 16.
The incident, captured on video and widely shared on Facebook and TikTok, occurred along Temasek Blvd, adjacent to the Suntec City Convention Centre.
According to the footage from user @iamejaz, the incident occurred at around 10.40pm.
What happened
In one video, the BMW could be seen accelerating in the first lane before veering into the bus lane.
In an attempt to overtake a white car in the first lane, the driver lost control before striking the back of the bus.
The impact caused the car's front bumper to crumple, and the white car could be seen coming to a halt behind the BMW.

Aftermath of the collision
In the wake of the collision, the BMW seemingly sustained major damages to its front.
The bus, which is service 36 operated by Go-Ahead Singapore, largely remained undamaged, with oil seen pooling underneath its right rear bumper.

Several onlookers watched on as the BMW remained stationary with its bonnet open, while traffic came to a standstill in the first lane.
