BBQ chain with long queues in Shanghai & Beijing to open 1st outlet in S'pore at Bugis+ on Apr. 15
It will also be its first Southeast Asia outlet.
Chinese BBQ chain Xita Lao Tai Tai will be opening its first outlet in Singapore at Bugis+.
Its soft opening will be on Apr. 15.
According to Xita Lao Tai Tai, the chain has more than 600 outlets in China and frequently sees long queues at its outlets in Beijing, Hangzhou and Shanghai.

Clay stove barbeque
The chain originates from Xita, Shenyang and is known for its Korean-influenced clay stove barbeque.

Its meats are also made with 28 types of house-made marinades, as well as its signature sesame dip made using ten different ingredients, like onions and coriander.
These are some of the meat dishes to be expected on the menu:
- Xita Fatty Beef
- Signature Marinated Beef Short Plate
- Pineapple Beef Sirloin with spring onions
- Signature Marinated Pork Fillet
- Special Marinated Pork Skin
Diners can also expect free flow side dishes like kimchi, mashed potato and tofu skin.
