GE2025 candidates to arrive early at nomination centres on nomination day: Advisory

Members of the public are advised to arrive at the nomination centre only after 10am.

Candidates in the upcoming May 3 general election have been reminded to arrive early at their respective nomination centres.

Nomination proceedings will take place from 11am to 12pm on Wednesday, Apr. 23, 2025.

The nine nomination centres are as follows:

  • Bendeemer Primary School
  • Chongfu School
  • Deyi Secondary School
  • Jurong Pioneer Junior College
  • Kong Hwa School
  • Methodist Girls' School
  • Nan Hua High School
  • Poi Ching School
  • Yusof Ishak Secondary School

Arrive only after 10am

Supporters and members of the public are advised to arrive at the nomination centre only after 10am, when it is open to the public.

They are also advised to take public transport to the nomination centre.

There will be security checks in and around the nomination centre.

Police warned against bringing large bags or dangerous items such as sharp objects, glass bottles, and laser pointers, among other things.

Members of the public are also advised against bringing placards, flags, or banners in support of any candidate to the nomination centre before the closing of nomination proceedings.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) will also establish Temporary Restricted Areas (TRA) over the nomination centres on Apr. 23 from 9am to 3pm.

Flying of unmaned aircraft and conduct of other aerial activities are prohibited within and into the TRA during this period, unless authorised by CAAS.
