Haji Lane cafe Rumi The Poet's Cup closing on Mar. 30
The cafe, which opened til midnight, was known for hosting music sessions, poetry nights, and board game events.

Rumi The Poet's Cup, a cafe located at 64 Haji Lane, will be closing on Mar. 30.
The cafe announced its permanent closure in an Instagram post on Mar. 9.
"Of memories, coffee and soulful conversations — Rumi The Poet’s Cup has been more than just a café; it is an awesome community," the cafe said, adding they wanted to thank "every soul who has sipped, laughed, and shared a piece of their journey" with them.
"This isn’t a goodbye, just the closing of a beautiful chapter. Here’s to the moments that made Rumi special. See you for one last sip at Haji Lane."
The youth-centric cafe at Haji Lane is well-known for hosting music sessions, poetry nights, and board game events.
Menu items include Rumicchino, Teh Tarik, and High Tea Macchiato.
