Lorry lands on side in accident with car on KJE, man, 35, sent to hospital
Police investigations are ongoing.
A 35-year-old man was sent to hospital after an accident on the Kranji Expressway (KJE) in which a lorry flipped on its side and blocked off a lane of traffic.
Police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told Mothership that on Mar. 11 at about 9:50am, they were alerted to the accident along the KJE towards the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE).
The accident involved a car and a lorry, police said.
The aftermath
Footage of the aftermath showed that the lorry had crashed and was lying sideways on the rightmost lane of the KJE.

Some of the items being carried by the lorry had spilled onto the road.

People were seen standing around a black car which was stopped behind the lorry.
Authorities also cordoned off the lane where the accident happened.

Car driver sent to hospital
Police told Mothership that a 35-year-old male car driver was conveyed conscious to the hospital.
SCDF said he was sent to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.
Police investigations are ongoing.
