Water pipe dislodged at North-South Corridor construction site in Ang Mo Kio, sprays nearby traffic
Water supply to homes and businesses in the vicinity is not affected.
A potable water pipe in Ang Mo Kio Avenue 6 was dislodged, leading to water bursting out in streams on March 19, 2025.
An LTA spokesperson told Mothership the incident occurred within the North-South Corridor construction site at around 10:30am.
Videos sent in by a Mothership reader showed jets of water spraying upwards, as a few construction workers stand by.
The burst pipe appeared to be located in a pit within the construction site.

Another video showed traffic moving along as usual as water continued to spray everywhere.

"LTA has worked with PUB to isolate the leak and repair works are ongoing," the LTA spokesperson said.
They added that water supply to homes and businesses in the vicinity is not affected.
The cause of the incident is currently under investigation.
