Motorcyclist, 27, dies after accident on SLE with lorry; driver, 71, assisting with investigations
Police investigations are ongoing.
An accident on the Seletar Expressway (SLE) claimed the life of a 27-year-old motorcyclist on the morning of Mar. 24.
Police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told Mothership that on Mar. 24 at about 9:30am, they were alerted to the accident along SLE towards the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE).
The accident involved a motorcycle and a lorry, police said.
SCDF said it took place near the Woodlands Avenue 2 exit.
The aftermath
Footage of the aftermath was shared to the Singapore roads accident Facebook page on Mar. 25.
In one clip, a motorcycle was lying on its side on the road behind a lorry on the second leftmost lane.
Debris was scattered across the road.

Another clip showed an EMAS recovery vehicle and a police car at the scene.
One lane of the highway was cordoned off with traffic cones.
A blue tent was erected.

Lorry driver, 71, assisting with investigations
Police told Mothership that a 27-year-old male motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by an SCDF paramedic.
A 71-year-old male lorry driver is assisting with investigations.
Police investigations are ongoing.
