At least 2 S'pore bound flights from Bali delayed after volcano eruption
Seven other flights were also cancelled.

Several international flights from Bali, including to Singapore, have been delayed as a result of a volcanic eruption.
Volcanic eruption took place on Flores
According to CNA and Indonesian media Antara, Mount Lewotobi Laki-Laki, located on the island of Flores, spewed out ash that reached up to 8km in the sky.
A spokesperson for Bali's Ngurah Rai International Airport said that as of 9:45am, Mar. 21, six Jetstar flights bound to Australia and one AirAsia bound for Kuala Lumpur have been cancelled.
Five international flights have also been delayed, including a Singapore Airlines flight to Singapore, a Bangkok-bound flight with Thai Air Asia, another Kuala Lumpur-bound flight with Air Asia, and flights to Brisbane and Melbourne with Virgin Airways, the spokesperson added.
A cursory search on the Ngurah Rai airport website revealed that at least two Singapore Airlines flights from Bali have been delayed.

The spokesperson also said that the eruption is not as severe as the previous time in November 2024, and voiced his hope that the airport would be able to continue its services as per normal.
No reports of damage at villages near the volcano
According to CNA, there have been no reports of damages at villages near the volcano.
The previous eruption in November killed at least nine people and resulted in the evacuation of about 11,445 people.
