Pedestrian, 82, sent to hospital after Punggol accident, bus driver, 53, assisting with investigations
The driver has been removed from duty while investigations are ongoing.

An 82-year-old pedestrian was sent to hospital after an accident involving a Go-Ahead bus at a Punggol junction on the afternoon of Mar. 19.
The bus driver has been suspended for duty while investigations are ongoing.
Police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told Mothership that at about 4:45pm on Mar. 19, they were alerted to the accident at the junction of Sumang Link and Sumang Walk.

Footage of the aftermath was shared to the Singapore roads accident.com Facebook page the next day.
It showed a Go-Ahead bus had stopped mid-turn at the junction next to a pedestrian crossing.
Its bus captain and a person wearing a motorcycle helmet were attending to a person lying on the road underneath a pair of umbrellas.
A food delivery rider also stopped to help.
Driver, 53, assisting in investigations
Police told Mothership that an 82-year-old male pedestrian was conveyed conscious to hospital.
SCDF said he was brought to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.
Police added that a 53-year-old bus driver is assisting with investigations.
In response to Mothership's queries, a Go-Ahead Singapore spokesperson confirmed that one of its buses operating on service 382G was involved in a collision with a pedestrian at the junction of Sumang Walk and Sumang Link on Mar. 19.
"The pedestrian was conveyed conscious to the hospital by ambulance and the bus captain has been removed from duty while investigations are ongoing," said the spokesperson.
Police investigations are ongoing.
