A boy in Malaysia had to go for emergency surgery to remove an arcade token that had gotten stuck in his throat.
Thankfully, the surgery was a success.
The unusual case was described by Mohd Shaiful Nizam, an ear-nose-throat (ENT) specialist working in a Pahang hospital, in a Mar. 16 post on X.

At first, the doctor thought it was a coin, which is more common amongst children.
But when it came into view, Shaiful was surprised as the object did not appear to be a typical coin.
