Passers-by assist motorcyclist who ran red light, hit car & flipped over in Hougang
Vehicles turning right had the right of way at the time.

A man riding a motorcycle was seen beating the red light and crashing into a car in Hougang on May 27 evening.

The 32-year-old male motorcyclist was conscious when taken to Changi General Hospital, the Singapore Civil Defence Force said.
The police said they were alerted to the incident at the junction of Upper Serangoon Road and Hougang Avenue 7 at around 6.20pm on Wednesday.
The motorcyclist is assisting with ongoing investigations.

The caption of the video indicated that the vehicle was a Malaysia-registered motorcycle.
The motorcycle was travelling along Upper Serangoon Road towards Hougang, while the car was turning right at the junction towards Hougang Avenue 7.
The motorcycle was going straight even though the red light was on, dashcam footage video showed.
Motorcyclist thrown into the air
The motorcycle hit the car that was in the midst of completing its turn.
The motorcyclist was thrown into the air, over the car, and fell onto the ground.
The motorcycle appeared to have been equipped with a thermal food delivery bag, which was lying on the road post-collision.
The car subsequently moved to the side of Hougang Avenue 7.
Passers-by helped motorcyclist
Several passers-by approached the motorcyclist.

The motorcyclist appeared to struggle to sit up.
Paramedics were subsequently seen attending to the motorcyclist with a stretcher.
