M'sian influencer gets backlash for attire at ancient Chinese temple & holding unlit incense sticks

A Malaysian influencer, Junee, who traveled to Henan, China, shared photos of her trip to a Buddhist temple.

The White Horse Temple is one of China's oldest temples, and traditionally held as the first Buddhist temple.

According to Chinese media, there are strict dress codes to enter the temple.

According to Mirror Media, her post sparked some backlash, with comments questioning her attire in the setting.

Others pointed out that her incense sticks also didn't appear to be lit.

She has since deactivated her social media accounts.
