Changi Airport to revamp Commercially Important Persons terminal & expand lifestyle hub for 2027
More comfort and personalised experiences.
A new private terminal and amenities cluster is coming to Changi Airport Terminal 2.
It will take over the site of the former Commercially Important Persons (CIP) terminal, transforming the area into a travel, lifestyle, and wellness hub.
In a media release on Apr. 15, Changi Airport Group (CAG) said it has started redevelopment works, and the new experiences are expected to open in the middle of 2027.
Enhanced private terminal
The upgraded private terminal will be jointly operated by CAG and Plaza Premium Group (PPG).
Passengers can rest and recharge in this space before being facilitated for their flight.
From this terminal, they can also enjoy smooth transfers to boarding gates and convenient access to the shops around Changi.
The terminal will feature a deluxe lounge, bar, private suites, bespoke dining, and a versatile, high-end event space for larger entourages and private gatherings.

Expanded amenities cluster
The new amenities cluster will be linked to Hub & Spoke, a dining and recreational space located along the Changi Airport Connector at Terminal 2.
The expansion will offer more dining options as well as wellness and pet-friendly facilities.
It will also feature Changi's first covered amphitheatre and open-air plaza, designed to host intimate to mid-scale events.
CAG said that the amenities cluster will be open to public, while the new private terminal will be open to all travellers on a pay-per-use basis.
Payment details will be shared closer to the opening date.
