Priscelia Chan, 47, has never gotten top 10 Star Awards nod in 27-year career, says having fan club just not her style

Priscelia Chan has been an industry mainstay for quite a while.

You might have seen her in a plethora of TV shows, but standouts like In Pursuit of Peace and The Journey: A Voyage might come to mind.

Despite her longevity, Chan has never gotten a Top 10 Most Popular Female Artist trophy before.

One fan page sought to change that, with their only post so far being a clear indicator of their intentions:

"Do vote for Priscelia Chan to clinch her first [ever] Top10 trophy"

They also called themselves the official fan club for Chan.

However, Chan clarified in a social media post that she had nothing to do with that fan club.

Or any fan club, actually.

This, despite a fan club surely aiding her chances to get into the top 10 quite substantially.

For this instance, Chan said she didn't want anyone to be harmed by potential scams.

She also admitted that she would like to get the award, "who wouldn't?" she asked rhetorically, but had never set up one.

When asked by Shin Min why she had never bothered setting up a fan club, Chan revealed that she had been asked multiple times by fans during her career but had always declined.

"Maybe it's just my personality," she opined.

Still, she's optimistic, telling Shin Min she doesn't view not getting a top 10 nod as a regret, as she believes the best is yet to come.
