Car-sharing service BlueSG to relaunch as Flexar in S'pore 2026
It is currently in "the beta phase of its shared car mobility service".

Singapore car-sharing company BlueSG will roll out a new service under a new brand, Flexar.
According to CNA, a BlueSG spokesperson confirmed on Mar. 10 that Flexar is currently in the "beta phase" of its shared car mobility service.
On its website, which appeared to be under development, Flexar advertised the service as "just seamless A-to-B journeys across Singapore".
Currently in testing phase
The BlueSG spokesperson added that the team involved is "focused on testing and refining a range of exciting new offerings designed to enable flexible urban mobility".
The upcoming service will feature a new platform, a refreshed fleet with a different range of vehicles, and an expanded network of pick-up and drop-off locations.
It is also expected to offer "greater reliability and a smoother user experience".
According to CNA, an email sent to BlueSG members revealed that Flexar will enable users to collect a vehicle from a nearby location, or "Flexar station", and return it at another.
BlueSG members have been invited to try the service first and can sign up to be shortlisted.
The BlueSG spokesperson said: "While we are not releasing full details at this stage, this beta helps us to ensure an intuitive and innovative experience for future users. Comprehensive information, including full-service offerings, will be shared at the official service launch."
Website launched
Flexar has also launched a website, listing the service as "coming soon".
"Access reliable cars when you need them, where you need them. No ownership hassles, no long-term commitments just seamless A-to-B journeys across Singapore," the company wrote on its homepage.
BlueSG announced a "pause" to its services in August 2025, and retrenched a majority of its employees shortly after the announcement.
It also shared that an "upgraded" service will be launched, featuring "advance technology, deep expertise, and enhanced operational capabilities".
