Residents at Yishun Street 22 are facing a bird problem: what appears to be hundreds of birds perched in the trees, chirping almost every day.
Speaking to Shin Min Daily News, residents shared that they have been facing this issue for over a year.
One resident said that every morning at around 5am, the birds would make noise for at least two hours before flying off. They would then return to the trees around 5pm.
According to the resident, the birds include mynahs, pigeons and crows, and their constant noise has affected residents' sleep, Shin Min Daily News added.
There are also bird droppings everywhere, the resident said, posing a hygiene risk.

Complex issue
In response to Mothership's queries, Nee Soon Town Council stated that addressing the bird-related issue is "complex" as it requires a multi-agency effort.
"The Town Council takes these issues seriously, as they affect both the comfort and well-being of our residents," it added.
Nee Soon Town Council stated that this year, NParks has conducted crow trapping operations at multiple locations across Yishun and removed around 650 crows.
NPark will continue to monitor the issue and conduct crow trapping operations in the estate.
Separately, various agencies have carried out several initiatives as part of the Pigeon Management Plan.
NParks has conducted exercises to trap pigeons, while the National Environment Agency and the Singapore Food Agency worked with food establishments to reduce the birds' food sources.
The Town Council added that it has stepped up waste management measures to minimise food sources that attract birds, like more frequent cleanings and stricter monitoring of refuse collection points.
It has also put up educational materials, such as banners, posters, and standees, to remind residents not to feed birds.
