Haig Road coffeeshop acquired by Kimly's subsidiary for S$11.8 million
The outlet has been run by Kedai Kopi, Kimly Group's Muslim-friendly coffeeshop subsidiary since Apr. 1, 2021.
Kimly Limited has acquired a coffeeshop located at 12 Haig Road for S$11.8 million.
According to Minichart, the deal was completed on Jan. 9, 2026 and was part of Kimly's ongoing strategy of expanding its portfolio of coffee shops and food outlets in Singapore.
The outlet in Geylang Serai has been run by Kedai Kopi, Kimly Group's Muslim-friendly coffeeshop subsidiary since Apr. 1, 2021.
This acquisition would allow Kimly Limited to secure full ownership of the coffee shop property, thereby ensuring that operations are continued, according to Yahoo Finance.
Entered share purchase agreement to acquire coffeeshop
Kimly Limited took up a share purchase agreement to acquire all the shares from the company, GSPL, the coffeeshop's previous owner, for S$11.8 million.
The coffeeshop, which has a remaining lease of 82 years, is a two-storey HDB shophouse unit.
The purchase was funded through a mix of external funding of S$5.8 million by Kedai Kopi, shareholders' loans of S$2.55 million and S$2.45 million and internal resources of Kedai Kopi amounting to S$1.36 million, reported Yahoo Finance.
