French restaurant SO France recently announced in a January 2026 Facebook post that it will be ceasing operations for its Singapore outlets by the end of February 2026.

Its Duo Galleria mall outlet in Bugis will operate for the last time on Jan. 25, and its cafe at Alliance Francaise de Singapour in Newton will continue to welcome customers until Feb. 28.

Various menu items

The closure comes after SO France opened its flagship concept store in March 2018, according to its website.

Since then, the bistro and cafe have offered menu items ranging from sandwiches and pastries to wine and artisan cheeses.

Thanked customers

SO France thanked customers for allowing them to be part of their everyday moments, "from quick coffees to long lunches, from simple catch-ups to meaningful celebrations".

"Your presence, your smiles, and your loyalty have shaped SO France in ways we will forever cherish," said SO France, adding that serving its customers has been its greatest pleasure.

Following its post, customers have expressed their disappointment in the comments section, noting that they enjoyed the wines, onion soup and croissants.

Final meal

SO France added that it would love to welcome customers one last time before closing, to say goodbye in person and "share a final meal, coffee, or toast together".

"From the bottom of our hearts: MERCI for being part of our story," the post read.

"We hope this is not goodbye, but simply à bientôt."
