Singapore's Minister for Sustainability and the Environment Grace Fu began 2026 with good news as she has welcomed a granddaughter into her family, her first grandchild.
Fu announced via a Jan. 14, 2026 Facebook post that she is now a grandmother, adding that she is "feeling blessed".
"Finally get to meet you. Welcome to our family," Fu said in her post which was accompanied by a picture of herself carrying the infant.

Upon seeing her post, which has since garnered over 3,000 reactions and 700 comments, many netizens congratulated Fu on her "promotion" to grandmother status and welcomed her to the "grandmother club".
