Previously known as Link@896, the shopping mall near King Albert Park MRT station has recently been revamped and rebranded as Dunearn Village.

The new mall and lifestyle and community hub now spans five floors, and will soon see a refreshed set of tenants such as FairPrice Finest, Craftsmen Coffee, Guzman Y Gomez and McDonald’s.

Dunearn Village will be welcoming the Year of Horse with an array of festive activities.

If you’re preparing for Lunar New Year or racking your brains over what to do in February aside from visiting relatives, why not check them out?

Workshops

From Jan. 31 till Feb. 8, there will be fun festive craft workshops at the mall’s Side Atrium on Level 1, where visitors can exercise their creativity and bring home a handmade gift.

Couplet calligraphy live painting

Hoping for some prosperous wishes for the year ahead? There will be a station where shoppers can write their own auspicious Lunar New Year couplets.

Minimum spend: S$28 in a single same-day receipt

Dates: Jan. 31, Feb. 1, 7, and 8

Time: 12pm

Customise your own wooden hanging ornament with felt stickers and auspicious blessings

Date: Jan. 31

Time: 3pm

Make a magnet with air-dry clay

Date: Feb. 1

Create a little bag in the shape of a koi fish with felt

Paint your own oriental ceramic plate

The minimum spend for the four aforementioned workshops is S$10 in a single same-day receipt.

Performances

There will also be various festive performances taking place at the Atrium and Side Atrium of Dunearn Village at Level 1.

On Feb. 14 and 15, from 2pm, visitors can also look forward to a gu zheng performance, Lunar New Year-themed magic show and live music showcase by 10-year-old busker Shayne Ko.

    

Other events include an exhilarating lion dance performance on high poles on Feb. 21, 1pm, as well as a bazaar by FairPrice Finest selling festive goodies and decor from Jan. 26 to Feb. 16.

Rewards for shoppers

Those who shop and spend at Dunearn Village from Jan. 30 to Feb. 15 can also get some special festive gifts.

By spending a minimum of S$58, you can bring home an exclusive set of red packets. 

Meanwhile, spend at least S$168 and receive a box of yuzu chia seed pineapple tarts curated by local celebrity chef Eric Teo.

These rewards can only be redeemed with a minimum of two combined same-day receipts and a maximum of one supermarket receipt, and redemptions are limited to one per shopper per day.

They are also available on a first-come, first-served and while-stocks-last basis, and redemptions can be made at #01-18 (near Level 1, Side Atrium), from 10am to 3pm, and 4pm to 8pm.

From Feb. 20 to 22, with a minimum spend of S$28 in a single same-day receipt, shoppers can test their luck and angling skills by using a fishing rod to pick a blind box containing some adorable plushies.

The plushies are available on a first-come, first-served and while-stocks-last basis.
