Car repeatedly brakes abruptly & blocks bus on bus lane in Geylang, SBS files police report
The bus driver said the car was driving at 10km/h.
SBS Transit said they have filed a police report against a car that repeatedly braked while driving at a slow speed in Geylang, hogging up a bus lane.
The incident occurred on Jan. 23, according to SBS, and involved a Service 51 bus that was blocked by the car.
A short clip, supposedly filmed by a bus passenger, showed a grey hatchback driving at a low speed ahead of the bus.
The bus captain could be heard saying the car was driving at a speed of 10km/h.

When the bus driver made a lane change to pull into a bus stop on the extreme left bus lane, the car followed suit in front, driving slowly and repeatedly braking despite there being no vehicles ahead.
It also came to a complete stop at one point at a bus stop.
"We have filed a police report regarding the incident, as the car driver had driven in a manner that posed a potential safety risk to other road users, particularly to our bus commuters,” SBS Transit spokesperson Grace Wu told Mothership.
